Centrally located on Prince Edward Island and only 40 minutes from Charlottetown Airport and 1 hour away from Moncton International Airport, makes it easy to visit Summerside.  We’re a little the hub on a wheel: no matter which way you turn, you’ll find homes and the social and economic fabric of Summerside and surrounding area . Ideal for smooth and cost effective logistics, Summerside is the focal destination on Prince Edward Island, by land, sea, or bridge.

By Air

There are four airlines that service the Island, providing corporate charter air Service and scheduled airline service to Prince Edward Island. Direct flights to and from Toronto, Montreal and up to six daily flights from Halifax, Nova Scotia are operated from the Charlottetown Airport a mere 40 minutes from Summerside. Private aircraft and pilots can take advantage of the Summerside Airport, owned and operated  by Slemon Park Corporation. The Summerside Airport, with its free air space, is located minutes from downtown offering a full complement of services to the air industry.  As well, Summerside is a little an hour drive from Moncton International Airport.

Bridge

Summerside is 28 kilometers from the Confederation Bridge which links Prince Edward Island to New Brunswick. This 13-kilometer engineering marvel is a quick and convenient way to arrive or depart the Prince Edward Island.  The Bridge is open all year round, 24 hours a day and takes approximately 12 minutes to cross.
